Wajdi Mouawad is a Canadian stage actor, director and author of Lebanese descent. This is a study of Incendies (“Wildfires”), a play where the Hundred Years’ War serves as an allegory for the Lebanese Civil War, and in which he explores the apparatus and inner workings of terror.
