LES BIBLIOTHEQUES ET LA LECTURE DANS LE BASSIN DES CARPATES 1526-1750
This study looks at the libraries and the reading in the region around the Carpathian Bassin between 1526 and 1750. It focuses in particular on the Bibliotheca Corviniana, one of the most renowned libraries, established by Matthias Corvin, King of Hungary and Croatia. The author offers a synthesis by looking at the history of the libraries as well as the history of reading in the period between the 16th and 18th century.
